We bought trail mix and Voss Water, which I capitalized on purpose because it is in a pretentious (artesian. water. from. norway.) glass "vial" of sorts , and that deserves capitals. I was convinced that at any moment I would tumble off of the Butte only to land on my Voss Water, which would would of course shatter, impaling me with shards of glass. But we always knew that pretentiousness is deadly, especially 12.6 fl. oz of it. NPR was talking about the International Space Center this morning, and I decided to become an astronaut, if it isn't too late for that kind of decision. [13 Jun 2006|11:42pm] [ mood | satisfied ] [ music | Broken Social Scene ] I HAVE PURCHASED A YOUNG ASTRONOMER'S (broken) PLANETARIUM! I called the hobby shop today to ask about parts. When I got off the phone I thought to myself, Did I really just start a conversation with a stranger using the phrase "So... I have this broken planetarium?" And I did. But once it is fixed I will have a star gazing party. Actually I probably won't, but I will use it in my twisted plans of seduction (for every boy I ever meet), because what is more romantic than pointing out constellations together? OH I KNOW... POINTING OUT CONSTELATIONS TOGETHER IN MY BED. no? Essentially, the planetarium will never live up to the expectations I have for it. [23 May 2006|05:38pm] [ music | Silver Jews ] So today I found out that my biology prof. isn't failing anyone in the class, regardless of what grade they earn. I'm taking this as pass/no pass, so I'm wondering how this gives me ANY MOTIVATION AT ALL for ever doing ANYTHING in that class again. WHAT A MONUMENTAL WASTE OF TIME THIS CLASS IS. I am getting 4 credits for doing nothing, and for some reason that just pisses me off.
